Development of transaxles in automobiles
Kubiš, Vojtěch ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is concerned of development of transaxles in automobiles. Overview of types of axles is mentioned here as well as their working principles. Attention is also given to suspension and damping with description of how it works. In this thesis are described solutions of selected cars suspensions.
Testing of Vehicle Suspension Components
Šidla, František ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Hejtmánek, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with issues related to testing car chassis components during development. Automobile transport is the most common type of long-distance transport. That's why vehicles are constantly evolving to provide the best possible performance. Increasing demands on consumers are being placed on vehicles because of the introduction of modern technologies. New technologies and concepts need to be thoroughly tested that they can be properly integrated into existing models. Test devices for determining the characteristics of the chassis are generally described here using specific examples of individual machines. Subsequently, the work clarifies the testing of the service life of individual parts of the chassis. The last part is devoted to the conceptual design of a simplified hydraulic device for testing coil springs. From the calculated characteristics, a hydraulic actuator and pump are selected from the relevant catalogues. In conclusion, the importance of car testing in development is summarized, individual types of testing are described and the readiness of test devices for the future is indicated.
Concept of a modular tandem trailer
Pavlovič, Matúš ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on analysis of construction elements of two-axle trailer as a carrier of changeover system. Furthermore, this thesis includes own conceptional desing of two-axle trailer, it’s frame and suitable construction elements, also calculations for verification of functionality of the frame. Thesis also includes drawing documentation of the trailer.
Vibration damper development and innovation of a laboratory stand
Filipi, Jaroslav ; Mazůrek, Ivan (referee) ; Nevrlý, Josef (advisor)
Bachelor work deals with description and functionality of vibration dampers. Since the vibration dampers is a wealth of species, work is focusing on the dampers used in cars known as shock absorbers suspension. I have described conventional shock absorbers suspension and modern shock absorbers suspension. Furthermore, I described active chassis. High-quality equipment is very important for the future development of dampers. I propose possible ways of innovation existing laboratory stand.
Group R Rally Cars
Černý, Filip ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Hejtmánek, Petr (advisor)
In this bachelor’s thesis is elaborated a technical overview of the new car racing group R. This group is primarily designed for rally racing competition, organized by the FIA. It describes vehicles dividing into different groups, their structural design and safety features. Finally is shortly outlined possible future development of these racing cars.
Conversion of Car Front Suspension
Chaura, Václav ; Porteš, Petr (referee) ; Hejtmánek, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on the design of the conversion of the car front suspension for racing purpose. Existing suspension solution is described by analyse static and kinematic quantities. Furthermore, a change of suspension is proposed to improve the driving characteristics of the vehicle, where the kinematic, dynamic and strength analysis of the newly designed suspension is performed. The conclusion summarizes the comparison of the original and the new suspension design.
Two Axle Railcar Suspension Design
Polcer, Pavel ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis contains a design for two axle railcar suspension. Functionality of the design was verified using analytical and numerical calculations.
Sheet Metal Stretch Forming Process
Lorenc, Tomáš ; Císařová, Michaela (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
In this work, elaborated in the bachelor study, there is a general overview of the sheet metal stretch forming methods. The stretch forming processes shift the boundary properties of the materials and merge process of drawing and bending into one operation. That's why it's possible to do products from materials, which can not be possible to form by other methods in the same quality Positives of this technology are the minimization of cushioning, the production of complex, precise surface shapes, etc. The contribution of this work is a systematic summary of the principles that should be used as a tool for teaching or as a basis for the wider development of this method.
Separation of pollutants on photoreactors
Kurťák, Marek ; Šolcová, Olga (referee) ; Svěrák, Tomáš (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with photocatalytic degradation of organic polutants on water- suspended UV activated anatase particles. The measurements are executed on a pilot plant UV photoreactor and the aim the thesis is to figure out the time course of azo dyes degradation under different photoreactor settings and subsequently infer the effectivity of the photoreactor under different settings. The degree of the aze dyes degradation is evaluated via UV-VIS spectrometry.
Transparent polycrystalline ceramics at visible and infrared wavelenghts
Veselý, Jan ; Maca, Karel (referee) ; Trunec, Martin (advisor)
his thesis deals with preparation of transparent ceramic sheets made out of sub-µm alumina powder. Green bodies are prepared by ultraviolet (UV) curing of UV curable resin containing ceramic powder followed by debinding of organic parts at elevated temperature. High relative density of green bodies is essential for reduction of shrinkage during subsequent sintering process. Therefore high solids loading dispersions containing > 57 vol% ceramic particles are used. To reach transparent behaviour, porosity within the sheets must be reduced completely. Therefore hot isostatic pressing (HIP) is used as a final operation. Finally, light transmission and hardness measurements are presented. Possibilities of making high resolution microstructures using maskless lithography and some suggestions for use of the UV curing technique for production of complex-shaped 3D structures are briefly mentioned.
